My limewire was working perfectly up until a few weeks ago when it would just start connection for hours on end. I am not connected to a router, and I am currently using Windows Vista Home Premium. I got it to work ONCE during this period by removing all of my processes other than the ones that don't allow me to access it, although this method does not help me anymore. I have additionally attempted to close my anti-virus (Kaspersky), along with windows firewall, neither helped after several attempts to restart limewire. I only use limewire for legal purposes - so I can't imagine my access being denied. Additionally, limewire detects a firewall even when there is no firewall present, after a taskbar-close and restart as well. Limewire has administrator rights, but no compatability options (Is that the problem?)

The following is a list of all my processes. I add it in hopes that a program is preventing limewire from connecting.


Additional Information: I have attempted many times to delete and reinstall limewire, with default settings of course.
