ok sorry if this has already been asked and answered-- i looked ... TWICE! and didn't see anything so here goes-

i "uploaded" several of my own material to limewire and i only see the "hits" bar going up- the uplload bar says 0/0 for all my files-- did i do something wrong?-- someone in another forum said i need to turn uploading on-- i think i already did that though?-- am i missing something or is all going well- ALSO my friend searched for my downloads and didn't see them either- i know i cannot see MY uploads-- help?

Do you see a wall in front of the globe ?? That would explain why your mate cannot see your files....

Send your friend a magnet link of one of your files, then whilst they are uploading it they can Browse your files, & vice versa.

To help with your uploads, go to LW Library window, find your shared folders & select the files & use the Describe button. The tags help the files to be found in searches in the same way mp3 id3 tags help in searches.

System details will help us to try to see where your problem is.

For a start you can configure your software firewall: User Cant Connect - LimeWire
