Default Limewire sudden download fault

I've been using limewire for over 3 years and never experienced any problems. However, suddenly like two weeks ago, it suddenly stopped downloading (either downloaded things at 1-2kb/s, couldn't find sources/hosts, waiting on busy hosts etc.)
I haven't added any new firewall (or modified a firewall) or any new software or new connection/modem on the pc recently (so the problem can't be related to that).
However I did add another PC to my wireless network around that time (I can't remember whether the limewire was not working before or after that?)
I use the netgear wireless router as my connection (broadband). But i haven't experienced any change in internet performance on this pc.

I was also looking through past threads and looked at the connection tab (at the hosts) like suggested and the hosts are changing all the time (some suddenly go and new ones are added) I'm not sure if this is normal - the ip addresses are different each time.

I've also unstalled and reinstalled limewire, then frostwire, etc and still the same problem.

I have no filters on my hosts and no bandwidth limit (it is on 100% unlimited) and is all on the limewire defaults.

Make sure each LW is using a different port. You can check via Tools > Options > Advanced > Firewalls.

You will notice the limits of wireless connections when you are downloading heavily. Wireless is known to be unreliable speeds, and some models of router may drop connections. You may have too many connections attempting to connect at same time which is giving the router headaches. You could consider Tip: Purge the Downloads Queue! (click on blue link)

You could also consider disabling both OOB (under speed options) and also disable the Performance options under Tools > Options > Advanced > Performance.
