Default Anyway to reduce download speed?

Ok anyway i am sharing internet with my peers but then the download is set to either unlimited or 40kbs/s. Anyway to make it around 200kbs? cuz currently at unlimited rate, the dl speed is around 300kbs/s but when i try to lower the download rate, it will decrease to 40kbs/s. I can't seem to find a 200kbs/s when turning down the speed. Is there anyway to manually set the download speed? Thank you

Downgrade Limewire to an earlier version. E.g the one in my signature. I will have more bandwidth options.

Remember to delete the current version completely (not the songs and other content off course), because newer versions of Limewire have lots of crap added, which may interfere with an older version.

Or alternatively use Phex, which IMHO is a much better suited program for advanced users.

Unfortunately no.

Well if you have really brilliant coding skills and are able to get your hands on an old copy of the source code, it would be possible. But easy answer is no.
