![]() Whenever i pause a download on limewire and then resume it : Firstly the downloaded percentage backtracks , Secondly the file just stops downloading as it seems to fluctuate at the present percentage value. For example : When i was downloading an EDIT the download had reached 72% when i paused it. The next day when i resumed it the percentage value just backtracked suddenly from 72 to 46 After which no matter how long it was downloading the percentage value just fluctuated between 46 & 47. I went to the incomplete folder just to see whether in case the file was downloaded. On playing it i found that it got stuck at various places which Indicated an incomplete download. cause of this i haven't been able to download a thing foe weeks. I even tried updating to the latest version, but there's no respite. Is there any way to overcome this problem??Plz help. __________________________________________________ Edited to comply with the House Rules. ![]() The downloaded % can decrease if there's a corruption in the file: Downloads "Jump" backwards Check the file with Bitzi, if other users have rated the file then you'll get some idea if it's ok or not ![]() How to use Bitzi Try to download a different version of the file...see whether that's any better. If this happens with all files that you try to download - maybe there's something in your setup causing problems (eg a firewall)? In that case, make sure that you're only using 1 software firewall & check that it's properly configured to allow LW. Also check any antivirus/antispyware programs that you might be using: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/245412-post2.html |
