Default Files won't delete.

Hi I'm new please help me.

With limewire, my downloads just don't delete. For example I've downloaded something 12 percent and I cancel the download. The file is erased from the interface but it keeps on downloading. It shows me I have 3 downloads going at 38kbps when I am seeing nothing. Then when I close and open limewire, all the downloads are back in the window. If I try and cancel them again, the same thing happens. I've tried updating java, switching limewire version from 18.8 to 18.2 and back again, and deleting my incomplete folder. I'm all out of ideas now. Any help?

edit: this is not the same as files not being able to be sent to recycle bin kind of delete, as I can easily delete these files from my Incomplete folder... just they keep coming back. And yeah I really need help on this

okay I found a solution.

Uninstall, go on holiday for 7 days, reinstall and let the problem solve itself.
