Unless you are a LW Pro user, you do not have access to tech support & tech support is generally only via email.

Enabling chat will help with sharing believe it or not. That's something that is an odd behaviour. Chat helps people to browse your files. I guess it may use UDP instead of TCP protocol, but I'm not sure.

Ask your questions & hopefully someone can help you with sufficient answers for you.

I presume you are using LW 4.18 & not the new LW 5 alpha/beta version which still does not have all tools properly incorporated.
