Previous attempts generally successful. Some downloads registered in iTunes library but don´t play.
Wanting very much to use Pr*nce "L*t´s m*ke a b*by¨ as sound track for i Movie production as a gift to friends who have just had one. All iTunes marked downloads from LW of this song don´t play.
Perhaps ALL the copies of this song are dysfunctional?
Love some help.
Thanks

That is a possibility. Try playing them with VLC, that will be your God as to whether the songs are good or bad. VLC can play many more audio formats than iTunes can. (Also if you check Alternate Audio Players & support plug-ins you will see there are other alternatives which also can play a very wide range of audio files for OSX; eg: Vox)

If a song is popular, then there will most likely be more deliberately spread spam (corrupted versions) of the file.

BTW are you sure you are searching the correct artist. I did a search & found another artist (Billy ...) with that song. None by the artist you referred to.
