Default Limewire Problems(Poor search results)

Hello, Im sure this is a question that many have asked before but its really starting to get to me. I haven't got to download any music in over a year, and now that I really want to again, its bothering me big time. Anyway...

When I open limewire (version: 5.0.11) it loads and boots up, then I wait for it to connect... and wait... Finally, I'll get a medium connection, wait, then full connection. However, if I search for something, say "******" which I remember searching on other P2P Networks before, and right away, I'd have 100's of results in seconds. Now, If I search ******, if I wait about 20 minutes, I might get one or two results, and when then when I try to download them, I can't get anything.

Can anyone help?

I'm running Windows XP SP2
1gb ram
AMD Turion 64 (2Ghz)
Wired/Wireless connection (Wired 95% of the time)

I am behind a router, but I changed the port to be open to 5000, and open it up on my router as well. I have no firewalls, and even the windows firewall has been disabled.

Please someone, help.

Nobody really seems to have any idea. However, someone did mention that it might be do to my ISP... Still though, I'm with the same ISP that I have always been with, and I used to download music all the time without any problems.

Try the fixes in this link, different ones have worked for lots of people: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/336823-post2.html

Otherwise, run the condi program & send the info off to mrogers... the developers are trying to work out why some people have this problem with searches.

Well the problem with this is simple, LimeWire 5.0 doesn't deliver as many search results as the previous versions, EVERYONE has this problem.
Try downloading this version of Lime Download LimeWire Basic 4.18.8 - FileHippo.com and let me know if your search results become any better
