I saw someone else having this exact problem. I suggested using VLC - (click on link) _ (choose nearest mirror site) & making VLC their default video player. It solved their problem.  You would need to select one of each video file type such as mpg, mp4, .mov etc. & right-click & choose open with, select VLC from menu, click option to always open with. Then you are good to go for that file type. Setting Default video app
BTW the great thing about VLC is all the codecs are included inside the program itself & is a highly reliable video player. |
