Let LW use gnutella network, and use utorrent for torrents.
As for the file at 99% ... well is it a torrent or gnutella file? If gnutella, then re-search it & see if you find it in search results. If yes, cancel & press download again. That often gets it started again. For torrents, well perhaps you are not connected to anyone with that final 100% of the file. They might not be online. |

Thanks Lord of the Rings
I did a search on mini nova Mininova : The ultimate BitTorrent source! and that's where I got the file that I am downloading. Is that gnutella? If i wanted to use Utorrent which website should i be using? as you can probably guess i am new to this. thanks |

No that's a torrent file. Only files you find searching using LW are gnutella files.
![]() Amost any torrent site for any torrent program. However LW is not fully recognised as a torrent program at all torrent sites. |

forgive my ignorance but if that's a torrant site - then why did it start downloading the torrent on LW and not U torrent? would I be better off downloading using utorrent? if so how do i use it?
Thanks once again. |

erm too late now. You need to right-click the torrent file you downloaded from the website & choose open with uTorrent, & click the option to always open with ... this changes the default to open torrent files over to uTorrent.
