I can connect to the network with 5 bars. My searches return nothing. I tried to ask a question before but the only response i got was "erm ... I think Birdy left a link to a similar discussion & suggestions within that thread. erm ... did you search your topic before posting, no no no need to chat just do as the forum rules suggest. We have better things to do than repeat same answers 159 times a day. Otherwise we'd start to feel we are getting a stutter. I've discussed this topic many times. I do not feel like repeating myself yet again for you who is obviously very lazy to even so much as check on links given to answers. Maybe whats on here isnt so helpful if the help section keeps growing as do the number of users requesting help. I just want to use the software and not be scared that i'll get banned for asking a question because some moderator woke up on the wrong side of bed. with that said anyone here care to help out. whats in the dl section doesnt address the problem i have. I talked back to Lord of the Rings...I know i'm going to get banned. Moderators before you ban me please read my original post...I honestly don't think I said anything that warranted LOTR response...he even called me names and I tried to the best of my limited technical abilities to follow the rules in my post. Maybe LOTR's response was because this link I can't get any search results had already been posted in the original thread. You didn't say whether you'd looked at that link or tried any of the fixes within

Heaps of people post onto threads without ever reading what's been posted prior & sometimes the helpers here feel like they've had enough of repeating themselves.

Relax, you don't get banned for something like that.

Are you using LW 5.0 or 5.1? Apparently the latest version (5.1.1) has fixed many of the search problems. If you're using 5.0 then update to the latest version & see whether that fixes things.
