Incomplete Files.

Im having a problem with my incomplete files. I Cant get rid of them!!!! I clear the downloads I dont wont using limewire, and they clear. I then go into my incomplete files folder Inside the limewire library and try to clear them and it will not let me, says file being used by another program etc.

However I then delete them in the C:/Program/Limewire/Incomplete folder and they clear and appear to be deleted! But If i restart Limewire, The Files appear again in the download section..................I dont know what to do..........

Ive read the previous post's and donwloaded the Unlocker but it still does not work. Any help would be brilliant.

Obviously using LW 5 (LW 4 did not delete the incomplete files). You need to cancel them from the download window first. LW 5 should be deleting the incomplete files also. Unless you accidentally started downloading a bad file or more ... which might be viruses, not easy to delete.

Cancel the files you do not want from download window. Close LW. Go to the incomplete folder, remove the 'good' incomplete files temporarily, delete the incomplete folder. Then create a new incomplete folder in same location & return the 'good' incomplete files.

Firstly I am Using Limewire 4.18 I did donwload 5 but didnt like it! You can delete the incomplete files using 4.18 under the library, Incomplete files Tab. However It wont let me do this say the file is already downloading etc.

I have deleted the Incomplete file and then started up limewire, and it creates the folder again with all the files i wanted to get rid of. When the files are downloading using the cancel option has no effect the Files do dissapear from the limewire screen but in the bottom left corner the program indicates the files are actually still downloading, However the file do respond to the pause command............im sooo confused on what limewire is doing!!!

This is really bugging me now no matter how hard i try these files just wont delete. please help!!
