Max downloads capped very low.
Originally when I installed Limewire PRO I was able to download as many files at the same time as I wanted. I (for reasons I no longer comprehend) adjusted the max setting to 10 to throttle how many people I downloaded off of to have higher speeds on specific downloads.
Now it won't let me adjust to above 10 consecutive downloads at any given time. I try to adjust the setting, but it always resets back to 10. I even uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck - still throttled at 10. Had anyone else had this issue? Has anyone found a fix for it? It really is no fun to setup downloads and not be able to leave the comp for fear of ending up on 10 people with horrid connections... Cheers! |

Double-post. Answered here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/downlo...tml#post343848
But .. that means slots; ie: how many files can be downloaded at one time. Not how many people you can download per file. That is 8 hosts per file for LW basic, 10 for Pro. Higher if you are running as an ultrapeer.
