![]() Sorry to reopen the subject, but I have the exact same problem... Except I can't see how to apply the same solution! When I go into advance tools, I only see "Statistics" or "Mojito DHT Arcs view"... and in the preferences panel, under "connections", I can only select if the program connects to the network right after opening or not... Under hosts I can block or allow specific hosts and that's it... and right now these are blank... I can't see anywhere where I'd be directly connected to ultrapeers... I hadn't used Limewire for a while, and when I opened it about 30min. ago it seemed to work fine, I got normal search results. And then all searches I did gave me similar results, like MissMacadamia : ost in WMA, one in "au" but also some in mp3... always one with [new single] another with "greatest hits 2009", at least one with just the search query and one with [club mix]. If you search under "title", you get [new single], if you search under artist or album, it's [new album]!!! I knew there was something weird going on when I opened a new window of search results (something I had never looked for) and it said I had already downloaded 3 songs... Including one that was [hot new single]! And as MissMacadamia said, apart than those weird looking titles, almost no other results. But what can I do to stop it?! ![]() I don't seem to have the same layout as she does, can't seem to have that option (or at least, not titled the same...). I'm now using Pro 4.14.10 under Mac OS X 10.5.7 Thanks! |

![]() Found it! I had to go in "view" to activate the connection window you were talking about... and there I could see the hosts you had talked about and try a solution I saw elsewhere in the forum, which was disconnect one at a time to get an idea of who is the culprit (maybe they all were, probably I won't remember, but hey, I followed the suggestion). It worked like a charm! Scared at first, since it said I had turbo connection, but was getting no results at all... then it was OK. Phew. |
