I've used Limewire in the past with no problems. I've just downloaded the latest version ( 5.2.13 ) and am showing 5 bars. I get lots of hits on the songs I'm looking for, but they simply do not download. They go into one of 2 "status's", either Search Again or Stalled.

Am I missing something here?

Try right-clicking the Search tab & choose Find More Results. Yeah sometimes you cannot connect to hosts of downloads, perhaps because those people have their upload slots busy.

There are such things as fake downloads, but not sure this is applying in this case. (ie: never connect to the host(s).)
