Default Limwire 5 pro is deleting my downloads automatically

Limwire keeps deleting my downloads when they are completed saying that the file could damage my computer. How do i stop limwire from deleting these files? I know that they are not viruses! Please help. Thanks

I have the same problem - after downloading a file successfully, the file gets deleted automatically. Search gives a message 'the path does not exist' so the file is lost. I have stopped download at 99.95 and file opens easily. Of course wont work with .rar files. Big problem - older version was OK! Or, is this an invasion - no abnormalities with protections and bittorrent works fine so far.

I recently upgraded to limewire 5 after using an earlier version of Limewire Pro. V5 sucks so bad I've resorted to paying for my mP3s. I don't like the layout, searches take forever, and the results are so limited....why waste my time? Even the older non-Pro versions were superior to v5. I'm so disgusted, I've even deleted my shortcut! ...........(the program is next)

The LW 5.3.0 Beta now prevents files known to be bad from even beginning to be downloaded. The beta was just released a day or two ago.

Yes a number of people have complained about the video files being lossed. But they would not have been deleted unless the file's download-hash matched up with known bad files.

There is always this option Downgrading to LimeWire 4 from 5 & resuming incomplete downloads.
