Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.) Oops .. Vista instructions here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...der-vista.html

But I must point out .. many of those results you might have been getting with LW 4.18 were probably spam .. which LW 5 auto-filters out .. many at least.

Thanks, I'll try that first. Before this I have downloaded close to 500 files and have always had many results to my searches.
