 Same here. I went to 2.4.4 yesterday. What a mistake! I am on a Mac G4 933/1GBRAM running OS 9.2.2 on a T1 connection. Download speeds are non existent. When I find an MP3 I want offered by another T1 or T3, I am able to connect. Top speed I am getting is 8 k/sec. Within 5 minutes, that has dropped below 0.5k/sec! Prior to upgrading to the latest version, I would consistently download at 25-35k/sec. Others uploading from me are still getting 25k/sec. Something definitely changed with the new version. I can only hope I can locate an older version of Limewire to reinstall.  |
