My connection is fine. i.e full speed transfer rates from UseNet and private-BitTorrent yet my BearShare downloads just stay saying 'active'. Normally they just stay active for a split second and start transferring. The sources are above 50.

Any ideas?

Edit:- Its ok... it was partiular files. Though heavily sourced and nothign fake about them. They still say active, too.

i was looking for some help. i tryed to uninstall limewire and now im getting an error message saying that one or more files was invalid and that it probably was a corrupted instillation. ive been trying to redownload lw but for some reason my computer decided to go extremly slow. does anyone have any idea how i can correct this problem? it doesnt that that im a total nubie at computers

That's a LimeWire problem, and a common one answered many times.
Search the LimeWire forums.

Click the plus sign next to the filenames so you can see all the sources. Enable as
many columns as you can. They still might be fakes but you don't have enough
info to see it yet.
