Default Deleting Icomplete Files, do they...

disrupt or cancel the Downloads that are still actively downloading....

because

when i delete files in the incomplete folder adn then i open up bearshare, all of my downloads disappear

do i have to wait for them to DL, then Delete Incompletes ?

of course....said incompletes (which reside in the Temp folder in bearshare) are filled with the data of the files that are in queue...how else do you think you are able to resume a download?

because of the way BS apparently creates the .tmp files its rather confusing as to which is actually which...so it would be safest to let the downloads complete then clear the directory...in theory cancellation of any downloads in queue that you don't want should clear all unwanted data...as you might have discerned I am a person who prefers to stay on the safe side....
