Default Folders/Files/creating???

Hello, and thank you in advance. I installed lime wire pro a couple of days ago and all is going well. I had some help from a Dell tech getting set up. He created a folder for my new downloaded music to go in to but I don't know how he did that. I want to creat different folders and I am not sure how to do that. I got an e-mial from another tech and he said go to file menu. I can't find this file menu he is talking about. But anything I down load goes into the same folder. Can I change that to different folders? This folder he created is on my desk top and also I see it when I open up lime wire folders. I don't now if any of this makes sense. I am down loading and burning music but would like to get more creative. If any one can help I would appreciate it.

Looks like you need basic help with your operating system, not LimeWire or BearShare.

Yes, I know this is some basic stuff but I just don't remember how to do it. When I was on the phone with a Dell tech he took control of my machine and created a Folder on my desktop for new downloads. So anthing I download goes into that folder and I just don't remember how he did it. I contacted him via e-mial but got a different tech and he did not understand what I was asking. I just want to be more creative and make other folders and files.
Thanks for your help,
Lenny

Yes, I have been fooling around and figured it out. I am a little slow. I just don't want to be scared to learn something. Thanks for your help.

In lime wire when I go to tools then options is prompts me to creat a folder but I kinda don't know where to start. Like I would like one for videos and am not sure about that stuff. I suppose I click on vidios and then creat a Folder I suppose. Everything is working fine now and I just don't want to mess anything up.

What operating system do you have? LimeWire works on many types and the procedures are
different for each one. Hopefully I can direct you to built-in help for basic stuff like making folders.

Here are a range of Vista books, from Amazon, that will help you on your quest to learn more Vista and how you can get it to work:

Amazon.co.uk: vista books

Although the URL is for Amazon.co.uk these books are obviously available from Amazon.com (US) or the Amazon in whatever part of the world you live in.

I think Vista will have some built-in lessons on the basics. Minimize all the programs you have
running, click once on the desktop to get Windows' attention, then hit the F1 key.

That's a LimeWire question and this is a BearShare forum.
You'll find the solution already stickied in the LimeWire forums.
