What about a native compiled version with gjc?
This would make phex addicted to one platform, but maybe it would run a lot f aster? I am not a java programmer, just wanted to hear your opinion about that. |

Anyone who wants to contribute and maintain a native compiled Phex release in our build script is welcome.
The current Phex team is not having enough resources to additionally do this too. |

It would be nice to have someone who makes Phex compile with gcj, but I didn't yet anage to do so (last time gcj didn't support all of the Java 5 features we use, but that was more than a year ago).
Would you like to take a stab at it?
