native compiled version with gjc
What about a native compiled version with gjc?
This would make phex addicted to one platform, but maybe it would run a lot f aster? I am not a java programmer, just wanted to hear your opinion about that.

Anyone who wants to contribute and maintain a native compiled Phex release in our build script is welcome.
The current Phex team is not having enough resources to additionally do this too.

It would be nice to have someone who makes Phex compile with gcj, but I didn't yet anage to do so (last time gcj didn't support all of the Java 5 features we use, but that was more than a year ago).
Would you like to take a stab at it?
