Not for me. To be more accurate, I should have woken up that you make the choice with the actual downloaded file, not the small torrent file in the Torrents folder. I hope that makes sense.

In settings there's an option to automatically share torrents (Sharing/Advanced.) It was enabled for me so I am not sure why the file was not being shared anyway.

Check your settings Shared.

Edit: Ok, so you wish to disable it being shared. You can also do that in settings.
