Default firewall

have just joined frostwire, and would like to know whether to put through firewall as i did in limewire, do i use same ip, or does it work through the gnutella one that i put in for limewire, and with the speed bars at bottom should they go better than excellent connection onto turbo, or is that the way it is at moment,
thanks

Hi bizbuz

Your settings should remain the same, just as with LW.

The bars can go to turbocharged, but I noticed they take a little longer.

cheers

right to the above question, have had frostwire on for about 3 hours and all it says in bars down bottom is excellent connection, my speeds seem fine, but wonder if they could be better, on limewire i always had turbo, surely it can't take this long to get onto turbo, other than that got nothing to moan about, well this ain't a moan, just a question, i'm happy with everything about frostwire, what more could i want, just curious,

I agree about the "curious" --always fun trying to figure out why something changes. I don't have an answer, but thought you might want to know the next beta, 4.9.34, is available http://www.frostwire.com/index.php?t...tWire:Download
