What directory do themes have to be downloaded to?
Are limewire themes compatible with frostwire?

Thanks

In your FW preferences folder (there is a folder for themes). Just put the .lwtp in it. LimeWire themes are compatible with FW.

Ciao

Thanks for your reply but....
What do you mean by FW preference folder? Within Frostwire
I clicked on Tools>Options but dont see a Themes entry.

I also double clicked MY Computer >Program Files> FrostWire
but kind of get lost there.

What do you mean just put the .lwtp in it?

AFAIK Preferences are found here:
OS X: /Users/your_username/Library/Preferences/FrostWire
Windows: C:/Documents And Settings/your_username/.frostwire
Linux: ~/.frostwire
Windows 98 / ME: Your .frostwire folder is in "C:\My Documents"
Windows NT 4.0 / 2000 / XP: Your .frostwire folder is in "C:\Documents and Settings\Username"

Ok guys, Thanks.
On my Windows XP computer the themes folder can be found at

C:\Documents and Settings\Eddie R\Application Data\FrostWire\themes.

I copied the LWTP files from
C:\Documents and Settings\Eddie R\.limewire\themes
to the Frostwire themes directory

and now I'm able to use the limewire themes.

I'm still having trouble with Halloween theme from Frostwire. When I Unzip it am not getting a LWTP file. I'll figure it out though.

Thanks again....

Rename the unzipped file by putting .lwtp at the end of the name. That should make the skin show.

I have a problem applying my themes. It's because I don't have the
C:/Documents And Settings/your_username/.frostwire folder

I already uninstalled frostwire and afterwards removed the folder that was left on my computer after the uninstalling. I reinstalled it and still can't find the .frostwire folder. I also did a search of my whole computer and no results of where the folder is could be found. How do I go about fixing this? Any help is helpful. Thx in advance.

Try searching for a folder called themes and if you find one see if it has any relation to LW.

Also, what OS are you running? From what I see here there's a little bit of a difference.
