These volunteers keep the board organized and moving. Moderators are authorized to: (in order of increasing severity) Move posts to the correct forums. Many times, members post in the wrong forum.  Frostwire/Limewire Java Error Hello everyone i was wondering if you could help me with a problem that is effecting me with both limewire and frostwire. I double click frostwire and it shows up the normal loading bar..it gets to loading chat window and takes a while then it loads...all of a sudden frostwire appears as itshould then about 2 seconds later shuts down. 1st the actual frostwire then the icon down the bottom. | Try uninstalling your current version of java while LW is completely shut down. Go to the add/remove programs control panel and uninstall your current version of java. Now download and install J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 Update 11(use the offline installer): Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11 If that fails try deleting your LW Preference folder. Instructions in this thread points 2 & 3(check both locations): Fixes for Limewire.

| Error logs & windows explorer Hi, I am new to this forum and have the same problem on my limewire (pro). I have the same annoyance when I tried to open my limewire shared folder. It popped up a crash saying "Window expl. encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Even though when I just went to the folder w/out clicking it, it still pops up.
