Hello, I've been using Frostwire for over a year now with no problems.
Recently I updated to the most recent version, (4.17.0) and now every time I open the program, it creates a folder named "Frostwire" in My Documents folder. I've configured my downloads folder to be in a totally different location so I don't know why it keeps creating this folder. I use WinXP Pro, SP2 and Frostwire 4.17.0 Any ideas? |

It inherited the trait from LimeWire 4.17.
I think it was meant for paid downloads, a feature which hasn't been used yet.. It's harmless, though a bit annoying.

I thought maybe there was a way to disable or correct this but oh well, maybe in the next version this won't happen.
I've deleted it countless times but as soon as I start the program, there it is again. Anyway, thanks for your answers! |

It's annoying & doubt too many people use the Store process anyway. But for now cannot do much about it. However, you can change the location of the folder. Go to Tools -> Options -> Store & choose location. Put it somewhere out of view lol
(my apologies I don't have the most recent FW version, I presume you have this option.)
