You uninstalled CA, then re-installed both FW & Java as I suggested in post #9? Again, delete the FW preferences folder whilst the program is closed. Did you try changing compatibility mode to XP, and also both FW & LW must be set to run as Administrator when using Vista (points 5 & 6 in my link in my previous post.)
For Vista, it's best to set the installer to run as Admin, then after installing right-click the FW shortcut choose run as Admin also.
When you re-installed Java, did you download the Offline installer, then remove all previous Java versions first before re-installing Java & reboot the computer after installing (running CCleaner after removing all previous versions & before reinstalling Java)? |
