Now this search for same filesize feature is quite a handy thing..
But it can also create completely new Mp3's, you start downloading song A, it gets aborted and phex046 finds the same filesize to resume but it is in fact a completely different song......... |

This can only happen if a different file is returned from a search on the specified search term of this download. You can change the search term with the buttons under the download candidates table.

Of course it could happen, but the likelyness of this is EXTREMELY low. You will almost never find a file which matches the same search term as your original file AND is exactly (!) the same size without it being the same file.

Well, Konrad now that you mention same search term...I did have a look at the mp3 tag in winamp
I was downloading "Baader meinhoff blues"by a band called "Legiao Urbana" the resume was "get down"by "Everlast" At the time I wasn't paying much atention to the resume, Phex was just running in the background. But anyway this is the first resume that goes wrong, normally I have no problems and the resume works well. |
