I get the a nullpointer exception related to
a "guiRegistry" when I invoke phex

at phex.gui.common.GUIRegistry.initialize(Unknown Source)
at phex.Main.main(Unknown Source)

Which version are you using?

Try to fix the problem by deleting phexgui.xml from your phex or .phex folder.
This folder is located in your home folder.
