Is there some sort of Phex help or information file?

I like Phex, but i'm new at it and don't understand many of the terms and functions (for example, what is SHA1, and what is the difference between a peer and an ultrapeer?). Also, the error messages for connections are a bit cryptic. Does anyone know how I can find out more about Phex in general?
