![]() How much downlad- and uploadspeed did phex consume at that time? It is possible that it was being used to route a download through the Gnutella-Net. Generally Phex consumes quite much of my CPU-time, when I run it (being Java and Java being not well enough implemented in OSX IMO). THat's why I mostly run it, when I have nothing else to do with the Comp.
