I've read your post in the Limewire forum, And i started wandering....
At the moment I run Phex with the jre(1.3.1) that came with Limewire 1.6, but I have some gui problems, nothing to worry about, phex functions right, but could install the full sun version fix this ?

Please try the new Phex version 0.5.3. I completely reworked the network handling since there had been a number of problems to it. Hopefully it solves your problems too.

And there seem to be a lot more improvements than just the gui, Phex is now verry fast connected
Hoever, (this was in previous versions also) under download candidates, when I highlight a candidate I want to set as current or remove, I have to race to click, becouse the candidate is highlighted for a verry short time (the time varies, but 3 sec is max.)

But anyway,

I noticed the download candidate thing too and it will be one of the next big things I like to improve. Let's see how fast I can get it done and improve some of the old Furi mess in that code ;-)
It is causing the most gui problems currently.
