Requerying Algorithm

"Last time I checked, Phex had a particularly harmful requerying algorithm and I advise against using it."

Could some on explain to an idiot it and comment please.

I guess he has not checked for a very very very long time.

Phex has disabled automated research since April 2003.
This was done far before other clients followed.
