Somone explain this to me.When you take the bar at the top between the colums(like status)and move it,the download or upload goes faster.

I know what you mean, I have the same , I can even move the status colum to a point where I get download speeds not even possible with my connection

But It seems a gui bug to me .
The gui appears to be frozen and only updates when you move a column.
I don't think you can actually adjust the speed by moving the columns.
And it only seems to appear when downloading big files.

Actually this is a secret back door for faster downloads ;-) It's a completly new data transfer technologie...

Haha i thought so GregorK, Mabey i can make a self sliding colum bar!

I've tried it for myself, and was pretty amazed at first. Then I realized that all that's probably happening is that the details are being refreshed quicker when you resize the columns. The Phex authors probably chose not to update the details too quickly for performance reasons, even though the files are downloading faster than they appear to be.

If it was faster i would have probibly spent my time playing with it during a download. Now i guess i'll have to find something better to do with my time.
