Hello all, actually I have a couple clues about Linux (took Unix in college), but recently I'm having a horrible time getting downloaded programs to work - LimeWire, SeaMonkey (both worked fine under Windows XP, but can't understand why they won't work in Ubuntu 7.10. If you've an idea on how to counter this trend so I can get downloaded programs to work, please send me a line! Thanks ahead of time.
