I have checked out the Phex from sourceforge.org. I don't know whether it is ok because it took half a day to checkout and stalled at 89% for a longtime when I was using subclipse (subversion) on eclipse. |
Strange... usually it should only take a couple of minutes. Maybe there are some problems at sourceforge. |
Gregork: It is ok or enough to checkout the subdirectory:trunk of phex only and to build up the whole phex? |
Yes, you only need trunk... the other directories contain old version or other temporary development efforts. |
Hi, I also do not have much spare time but I am working on a project in which I could use phex. If this is the case, I could try and develop a small API so that I can use the phex core from my application. Do you think such a module would be of any interest for phex? What I need is an API through which I can
Many greetings Giorgio |
There are plans and first steps to build such an API. Take a look at the Servent class. If you build one, we would be very interested to integrate it. I can also give you access to commit your changes directly into Subversion, if you like to. Gregor |
I have managed to create a small class in my project that starts phex. Well, I just copied and pasted phex.Main and compiled it against phex.jar. ---- Regarding a complete API, I can create an interface and propose it to you. Then of course it would be helpful to have some hints from you as to how various functions should be implemented. |
