Windows 98 Error Help

I just installed xolox 1.5 but when I try to search, windows closes the program with the following: program performed an illegal operation - created an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at 017f:bff87ede. Would sure appreciate it if someone can tell me how to prevent this error. Thanks!!
