I'm new in Gnutella. In the Gnutella Protocol 0.6, it is said that a Gnutella servent connects itself to the network by establishing a connection with another servent currently on the network. I wonder how does the servent get other servent's IP adress?Using broadcast? How does it pass through gateway?
I get "Gnutella Protocol 0.6" from this page Gnutella Protocol Development It is said that techniques for finding the first host are described in Appendix 3.But i don't see the Appendix 3 in this page.... |
