Gnuttella source code in Java----Simulation requirements

Hi All
I am doing my Msc project which requires simulation of gnutella network. My supervsior advice me use peersim simulator. Thus in order to start my work i need to some how simulate gnutella on peersim, and once it is done i need to plot performance graphs etc.
I am not good in java and peersim either but i need you guys help for following

**Simple code for gnutella network written in java.
**any body has worked on peer sim
** any suggestions if i can use another simulator for the above task.

Please ask google - or better: Join an existing client and enhance it with simulation features.
