The best one: Which Gnutella client should I choose?

Hi, I was using WinMX for a while and I still do. I also used Kaaza, untill they add all that Gator rubbish, and AG satellite. Now I'm using XoloX, but I wanna try some other programs to see which one is the best.

It must have NO add- or spyware

I use the download programs to check out the newest & unknown artists and releases (I work for local radio) so it must also have stuff like that

BearShare

Try BearShare.

If you don't want to support the product by looking at advertisements, be sure to un-check all of the boxes in the setup except for the first two (or first 1 if you don't want a desktop shortcut).

Try Phex and Gnucleus. They have NO ad or spyware.

Morgwen June 29th, 2002 09:28 PM

I would also try Gnucleus and Shareaza, both are Spyware free...

Morgwen

I agree with Morgwen on this one
go with either Gnucleus or Shareaza (or both) - i think those two are the best clients available.

Links for the lazy.
http://www.gnucleus.net/
http://www.shareaza.com/
http://www.bearshare.com/

These are the three best clients IMHO. Bearshare has ads though.

try new emerging ones

try some new emerging ones and ask them to put your new songs feature !

for exemple shareaza : http://www.shareaza.com/
, goochi :
http://www.goochi.net

etc.

I would have to say Shareaza.... over Gnucleus.

After months of trying Kazaa lite, Gnucleus, Bearshare, Limewire, I finally found another decent client to replace my trusted Gnotella. Shareaza. This program doesn't use up many resources either. No lockups, great install.
