No connection with Gnotella or Bearshare
Looks like there's a prob with establishing connection between hosts. Using bearshare i get status: refused, trying gnotella he looking for the router till end of days. does someone know whats up, i.e. has the same trouble starting p2p?

P2P blocked-optimum online?
I cannot connect to gnutellahosts.com or router.limewire.com past 2 days using BearShare or Gnutella. What's going on? Has Optimum Online (cablemodem ISP) blocked their traffic?
i can ping these sites. Maybe they're blocking port 6346 connections? I'm located in Connecticut.

Kinda anoying, isn't it. "gnutella.hostscache.com:6346 " seems to work, though....

There were 'problems' connecting the last time BearShare had an upgrade. I'm beginning to think its a way to make people think they need to upgrade.
