downloaded files

Ive just downloaded 2 files dvd`s but cant save play copy or anything with them im new to this but ive got a decent download speed. How can i get films successfully.
Ive got a couple of video decoders but its asking for a video decoder.
The full files appear to be on my harddrive but i cant do anything with them

PLEASE HELP
