This thread is about as close as you will ever get to an explanation of the Limewire view on size filters, and lot's of us bang on about it incessantly.

FWIW I have just done a number of searches and have blocked several hosts who were sharing these little sods or similar. If they were sharing unknowingly, that's tough. Maybe if everybody starts blocking them the message will sink in, people will check there share folder and stop propagating the spread of these little buggers.
