 I'll make this simple.  Limewire is a computer program. It is available from limewire.com. You can download and install this program without infecting your computer. Therefore, this computer program DOES NOT contain viruses. Scan Limewire. You won't find any viruses. Now, if you use this program to connect to someone's computer and download a virus from them, does this mean that Limewire has a virus? No. If you use Internet Explorer to download a virus does this mean that IE contains a virus? No. I know how to avoid downloading viruses WITH Limewire. Not FROM Limewire. Ignore the advice in the forums. Go infect yourself!   |
