I am a returning user of limewire (a few years away!) and cannot see how to look at other peoples files,keep on getting a error msg) there was a problem broswing***** people seem to download from me ok,am I unlucky and keep on getting peeps who do not share!,had no problem before

Browsing is a little different to LW 4. However the success rate is probably about the same, not sure. You can browse both uploaders & those from search results, etc.

Browse Host tool never has been reliable in LW even with LW 4, etc. Reasons vary. Just because you cannot browse them does not mean they are not sharing. Even with LW 4, when you browsed someone, one browse might show zero files, another a few mins later might show 2,000 lol or the number might change each time you browsed them. This was proof the browse function was unreliable unfortunately. At least LW 5 will show cannot browse message instead of giving an empty search window which LW 4 sometimes did.
