Installing LimeWire: libc.so.6 No such file or directory Hello, I've just downloaded 'LimeWire' but I've got problems installing it When I run the bin file I get: "error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory" Although I do have "libc.so.6", when I do a "locate libc.so.6" in the console I get: "/lib/libc.so.6" and it's not a broken link or something.. Can someone help me with this?? I use MandDrake Linux, version 8.2 Thanks! |

Re: Re: Installing LimeWire: libc.so.6 No such file or directory Or are you talking about the installer, LimeWire.bin? Let us see if we can fix this. Do you have libgcj and/or gcc-java installed on your system? YOu can try removing those two but first let us try something else first. When you type this command: -------------------------- Is there another solution ? This one doesn't work. |
