I wan't to put this program on my server for faster downloads and uploads, but my server is in another location. I'm I able to access this program through telnet or http?

You can either use a remote X session or you can use VNC. If your workstation runs Windows, you would need Exceed for an X session or the VNC client if you use that. You can tunnel VNC through SSH with Putty for more security.

thanks, I downloaded vnc, I'm a newbie but catch on quick
![]() VNC is for when you have a network connection and I need exceed to connect through the internet? Were can I find Exceed? |

You only need Exceed if you're not using VNC. It's a commercial product.
For VNC, the server needs the VNC server process running and you will need the VNC client on your workstation to connect to it. |
