I have tried to install Lime Wire on RedHat 8.0 but am having trouble(yes i have istalled the Java VM). I get the same errors as everyone else. By reading all the stuff related to my probelm on this forum I realized that I need to change my path. However, which file do i change.?? I don't have any bash_profile. However, I have a file called /etc/profile. Is this the file I am soposed to edit. ?? As far as the error message goes I get the same error as everyone else.. Can you help??

Change your Nautilus settings to show hidden files. Edit .bash_profile.

If your system doesn't have .bash_profile either create it or edit .bashrc instead. Also, do not touch the /etc/profile as that is for system wide changes and effects, usually more than just your boot shell profile.
